My Go-To Beef Marinade
Add flavor to your steak or roast with my favorite marinade!
Course: Main Course, Staples
Keyword: marinade
Author: Suzie Bauer
- 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1-1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Stone Ground Mustard
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Whisk all of the ingredients together in a small bowl.
Pour over and evenly coat your cut of beef. Cover and leave in the fridge for at least 8-12 hours. I like to do even up to 24 hours for more flavor and added tenderness. See Notes.
When ready, pull the beef out of the liquid and cook to your liking. I'm a big fan of grilling, but you do you! Discard the remaining marinade.
You can marinate your cut of beef in either a deep baking dish with cover or a zip-top bag. I honestly prefer the bag so that I can get the meat more evenly coated in the marinade and faster clean up. If using a baking dish, be sure to flip the meat at least once halfway through marinading time for more even flavor.
This marinade should be enough for 2-3 pounds of beef.
