Add all the ingredients, except the vanilla and coffee, to a small sauce pan and place over medium heat.
Stir the ingredients until smooth, and heat for about 10 minutes. Do not let the mixture boil.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
With a strainer over another container (I use a Pyrex measuring cup), pour the liquid through the strainer. Use a spoon to stir and push the liquid through.
In a mug, pour in half the strained creamer and add about 2 oz of strong brewed coffee.
